The terminal is a large building with three concourses, A, B and C. An express tram service runs practically the whole of the mile long length of Concourse A. Concourses B and C are smaller. As well as the tram service, extra wide moving walkways help passengers move from one place to another within the building. It has a variety of restaurants, bars, newsstands and shops. Currency exchange services and Automated Teller Machines are also available.
The terminal serves Northwest Airlines and their partner airlines - Continental, Mesaba and KLM, as well as Lufthansa.
It contains gates 1-97.
